Why "Bridge Theory" and what does it mean?
Bridge Theory (BT) in short or Bridge Electromagnetic Theory (BET) are suggestive nicknames of the longer techincal name "Quantum-Relativistic Electromagnetic Theory". The word "Bridge" means that it is possible to unify three apparently disconnected theories such as Electromagnetic Theory, Quantum Theory and Relativity which in standard physics are synergistic but independent from each other and even conceptually incompatible. The Bridge is also a figurative way to go beyond the quantum frontier and understand how electromagnetism is the only common foundation of the physical world and how the electromagnetic field is the unique element that shapes spacetime and matter.
Why is the Bridge Theory an Electro-Gravitational Theory?
The Bridge Theory open the road to description the expansion of the universe in terms of quantum fluctuations emitting gravitons from a field of the "nothingness". The effect generates an electro-gravitational field under form of a red-shifted electromagnetic energy due to the expandsion of the electromagnetic sources. This description agrees with General Relativity, explains the expansion of the universe, the presence of a virtual form of dark energy and the rotational anomalies in the galactic haloes with a virtual dark mass.
Is Bridge Theory a mystical holistic philosophy?
Absolutely not, the Bridge Theory is a rigorous approach based on Maxwellian Electromagnetism which is proved to be completely in agreement with quantum physics and relativity. So you can use the usual standard theories with the certainty that their common use is completely correct. It also offers the possibility of discovering and understanding other currently unknown physical phenomena.
Why is Bridge Theory correct?
Like all physical theories, Bridge Theory is an advanced model of known reality based on the possibility of explaining the origin of quantum phenomena. Its correctness is based on two principles: the first is the theoretical estimate of the Sommerfeld constant usually called the fine structure constant, evaluated completely independently of any combination of known physical constants and ad hoc parameters and the last on the possibility of explain physical phenomenology in a simple way using a single concept as dictated by the principle of reductionism.
Is the Bridge Theory an everything theory?
Absolutely not! It is only a bridge to explain and unify quantum and relativistic phenomena and to approach the problem of the origin of the world.
Why is the Bridge Theory not commonly used?
The Bridge Theory was born in 1989 but was published in a first extended version in 1999. Without experimental confirmation it remains an alternative way of looking at the physical world although it allows to make correct predictions of many physical phenomena is not yet a complete theory. The theory is work in progress.
The current Bridge Theory and its future development
The Bridge Theory is able to explain both quantum and relativistic phenomenology by proposing a unification of electromagnetic and gravitational forces. The current development of the theory, by reviewing the phenomenology of interactions between particles, allows to use the main quantum-relativistic theories and methods without fear of running into formal and conceptual incompatibilities. The perfect coherence of the results obtained so far suggests the possibility of unifying all the fundamental interactions in a single universal interaction based on electromagnetism. An update of the theoretical estimate of the fine structure constant obtained in the simulation of the capture process leading to the formation of a hydrogen atom has recently been published in the European Physical Journal D. This latest work suggests that the value of Sommerfeld's constant underlies the formation of the atomic structure [https://rdcu.be/cygU5] .
